can't drag and drop

Hello,

I am sort of new to Free Commander and I am having a problem. I need to be able to drag a file from the FC window and drop it onto an open outlook email message. If I do this from normal explorer it drops the file and attaches it to the email.

I can't seem to drag and drop any file anywhere.

I have just tested this without any issues. I would suggest there may be an OS issue.

Have you tried to drag from/to two other third party apps?

thanks for your response. I assume you are right because this used to work just fine. I am not sure what changed... now that I am typing this I realize not that long ago I installed a new symantic endpoint virus package.

maybe that is my issue. If I figure it out I will post back here for others.

Just an update. I temporarily disabled my Endpoint anti-virus and it works just fine now. If I can figure out how to configure Endpoint to allow the drag and drop I will post back.

Just had the same problem myself on a machine running XP SP1. To fix it I logged off then back on again.

What OS and version are you having?

Yeah it was funny when I went to enable endpoint again it still worked. So far it has been running properly since I restated Endpoint.

strange. If it stopped working randomly every couple of weeks and I have to restart endpoint... small price to pay for such a great program.

I am really enjoying the added productivity of FC.
