Quick Search in Favorite tools

I mean the option similar to Search field in Windows Vista Start button menu - field to search the programs in favorite tools folders and all subfolders.

For example, I want to find XnView, so I'd just type "xn" and press enter to run the program - the same as in Vista start button menu.

Or/and perhaps the quick search field as a toolbar "button"... it would be more complex, so I'll start a new topic.
