Command Window

#1 Post by wakeup » 29.11.2009, 14:39

Hello,

If you add "open command window" command with the directory we selected it will be very helpful...

Also you can assign F9 key to run this command.

For ex:

When I choose d:\movies and run the "command from here" command, it should show the directory "d:\movies >>

Use Ctrl+D hotkey combination (change it to F9 in Extras>Keyboard shortcuts).
Note: you should be inside "d:\movies" not just in "d:\" and selecting "\movies".

I have another approach: I use a free utility called "SendToCommandPrompt.exe" that is part of the freeware "Send To Toys" available here (extract it using UniversalExtractor).
I use it in combination with the custom right click menu created by PowerPro, but you can put it in your "SendTo" folder or you can put it wherever you like and define it as a new favorite tool (you can assign as a hotkey the"Ctrl+0 to 9" combination. It works for both selected folders and files.

Hope it helps.
