Save "sort by" layout

How can I save my choice of "sort by" I select "type" but cannot see any way of saving this and FC reverts to the default "name" next time I open. As in View/Sort By/Type

Hm.. it should be saved automatically, try menu > extras > save settings.

You're welcome. There is another option in Settings > General > Auto save setting.

I've checked that box also. I should be fine now working with such a great application
