copy dialog: please add more options

#1 Post by macias » 15.02.2010, 10:42

I don't know if this is duplicate, because search engine stripped all words from summary as "too common".

The wish is to add more options to the dialog like in Total Commander/Midnight Commander, related to duplicates (source<->target):
( ) overwrite (this)
( ) overwrite all
( ) overwrite (all) when size differs
( ) skip (this)
( ) skip all
[ ] show report on skipped files

Something like this.

The copy dialog is the original windows copy dialog, because FC use the windows copy routine!
I think a FC copy routine is coming with the next version.

Marek has included additionally google search for the forum.
The search field is on the main site http://www.forum.freecommander.com (below the "Board index" line).

Thank you for the reply.

Ad. search engine -- I don't know if it is google backend or not, but it sure filters out my query. Try it "copy dialog more options".

I think you're not using the google-search.
Results of the google-search:

I didn't say I used google search per se. I used search button which is placed at the top, and the second one at the bottom.
