Suddenly my FTP program won't transfer

I have been using File Commander 7.33 for a couple of years with no problems. Today I tried to upload some files to 3 different websites and I received the same error message:

Error 425 Could not open data connection to port 1114: No route to host
Connection closed

Is this a problem on my computer or on the receiving computer? I have not changed any settings on my end.
