v949 has a new setting "File/folder operations" -> "Open multiple files" -> "File extensions for individual opening per file".
By the name of it, I'm guessing it's supposed to open a separate instance of the associated application for the specified file extensions. Is that guess correct, or does it serve a different function?
I tried it with file extensions associated with Notepad++, but only a single instance of Notepad++ opened with all the selected files in it.
I also tried it with file extensions associated with XnView MP, but only a single instance of XnView MP opened with only 1 of the selected files in it.
What's the setting supposed to do? Is it working correctly?
