FC start up delay

I love FC but it takes on average 16 seconds to load the program from the time I click the icon. Is this standard? Or is there a fix? Just asking 
If you have folder view turned on and you are accessing a network drive, this may be your problem. FC has known issues with network drives.
The other thing you can do is rename your freecommander.ini file then start the app. This will ensure you get a clean start.
