Syn2 Editor - How to change font

I realize that this is not directly related to FC, but I have the Syn2 enabled, and I can use it to view files.
How do I change the font of the displayed files?
How do I say that particular extension lile .config is for XML files so that .config files can also be
treated as XML files for syntax coloring?
