I find that when I drag and drop from one pane to another, the folder that I am copying to "expands" (the "+" is expanded into subfolders) and then the position of the folder moves in the tree. The result of the movement is that the file ends up being copied into a sub-folder instead of the folder. I'm not sure if it is my dragging technique or not, but it would help if a folder's position is not moved when the "+" is expanded.
Thanks for your attention to these matters.
Otherwise, I am quite enjoying the many features of Free Commander.
BTW, Version is 2007.10 .
Folder position moves when expanding
This problem still exists in 2009.02 and over the months, I have many files that get moved or copied to sub-folders.
Again, when the pointer is put over a folder, it expands, but when it expands the top folder jumps up to the top of the window.
I can see the original motivation, i.e. so that the user can see more sub folders, but the motion of folder occurs in between the mouse-over and the release of the mouse button, causing the copy to use the wrong position.
If I was an unethical person, I would call this a "bug" in order to get it more attention.
