Hidden File name display

Is there any way the 'greyed' hidden file names etc can be made to be displayed in full black type.

I frequently want to access Program Files and other so-called system items, and I find it hard to peer at the file lists to read the 'greyed' entries.

Settings > View > File/folder list > Items Color > Hidden.
