Total7Zip_0856: no warning that file is in use

#1 Post by Timon » 13.05.2013, 17:06

When we try to rewrite running *.exe file with new one from archive using Total7Zip we see no warning "Cannot create file...". As a result, rewrite does not actually happen. The same operation using internal fcZip shows such warning.

Example: run PSPad and try to update main PsPad.exe to new one from zip archive ( http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?6,60627 ) using Total7Zip in FC XE 619. FC XE shows no warning, but after update you'll see that program version was not changed.

In Total Commander with the same version of Total7Zip we see error message.
Using 7Zip we also see error message.
